Online enquiries and overseas service providers
Our website and enquiry pathways may use third-party hosting, form processing, email and technology providers. Some providers or infrastructure may be outside Australia, including in the United States and other jurisdictions in which those providers operate. Privacy laws in those jurisdictions may differ from Australian law.
Please do not submit identity documents, bank statements or other highly sensitive material through a general website enquiry. James will provide an appropriate method for supplying application documents after making contact.
Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for our services, legal and regulatory obligations, dispute management and legitimate business purposes, then take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
Access and correction
You may request access to personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct information you believe is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. We may need to verify your identity before responding. In some circumstances, access may be refused or limited where permitted by law; if so, we will generally explain the reason and available complaint options.
Privacy questions and complaints
Please contact us first with a privacy question or complaint. We will acknowledge and investigate complaints and aim to respond within 30 days.
